Being a small firm, we are able to provide personal service to each customer and are driven by our core values of honesty, integrity, and fairness.

Meet Our Team
Lindsay Sorenson

Carissa Franzmeier
Lindsay is the owner of Reliance Accounting and Tax Services, LLC. She graduated from the Fox Valley Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting and received her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Accounting at Lakeland University.
She has gained tax experience working with a small firm with offices located in Oshkosh and Plymouth. In addition, she has been privileged to work as an Accounting Assistant for the St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System in Appleton, Wisconsin. In that role she gained valuable nonprofit accounting experience and enjoyed being able to take the reins as the person in charge of payroll.
Upon graduating from college, she found her true passion in taxes and obtained her Enrolled Agent credential with the IRS. She decided to make the jump into starting her own small practice.
As she continues to build her practice, Lindsay continues to gain valuable skills and knowledge in her work as a part-time as a Tax Researcher for the National Association of Tax Professionals and joined the Succentrix Business Advisors team, where she is able to help other tax professionals with the most complex of tax questions. Lindsay has also served on the Board of Directors at Community Benefit Tree, a local nonprofit helping families navigate medical crises.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, enjoying the great outdoors, spending time with her cats Pickles, Skwarebukl, and Pepe. She is always up for the opportunity to walk in the woods, cast a fishing line, or kayak. Additionally, she enjoys working in her vegetable gardening and occasionally trying her hand at artistic endeavors like painting.

Carissa joined our team as a Bookkeeping Support Specialist in July of 2024. She brings a strong educational background, having graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor's in Education and a minor in Science.
Though her love for education has always been present, Carissa discovered a passion for data collection, inspired by fond memories of working with her grandfather, who was a bank president in Minneapolis. Her keen attention to detail and love for organization make her a great asset to our team.
Recently relocating to Menasha, Carissa is excited about this new opportunity, which allows her to balance her career while being more present with her daughters. In her free time, she enjoys working on house projects, going for walks, gardening, and catching up with friends, all while keeping up with her two young daughters.
