Most tax returns cost around $200 to file a state and federal return.
We generally send out a Client Packet in the beginning of January with a letter and a very simple tax organizer. You will need to fill out the organizer and either bring the completed organizer along with all tax documents to your in-person meeting or upload all of the documents to the Client Portal before your virtual meeting. If preferred, you can also mail the documents to us. We will then have a brief in-person or virtual meeting to go over any questions you might have and to address any additional clarification I might need. After that, I will work on your return and then reach back out when the return is completed.
Yes we can! The first state tax return is included in the price and we charge $50 for each additional state tax return.
We take COVID-19 precautions very seriously. We have added a 100% virtual option this year along with no-contact online payment methods. We also offer safe, in-person consultations. We take care to make sure anything we bring into your home has been cleaned and also wear a mask during the meeting if you prefer. It is all about keeping you safe and making sure you are comfortable.
Yes, we do business returns! A basic Schedule C business or Schedule E rental is already included in the price of your individual tax return. If you have a partnership, S Corporation, C Corporation, or LLC taxed as any of those entities, then we do charge it as a separate return. Business returns start at $350 with the price increasing based on the complexity.
In most cases, no. If you have a question related to your tax return or are trying to do some basic planning for how something will impact your taxes, I do not charge. I want you to bring those questions to me! However, if the question is complex and requires extensive research, then there may be a small charge.
